We acquired our first Australian Shepherd in 1987 from David & Pam Heintzelman of Lil' Creek Aussies.
This was Pam's first litter and we fell in love with a little black-tri male.
We named him Teddy's Little Spike "Spike" (CH. Heintzelmans Teddy Bear x Shadowmere's Nikita).
Spike's sire and dam were bred by Tina Shockley of Shadowmere Australian Shepherds. We
started attending different shows and we were soon bitten by the show bug!  We tried  to show our little black-tri dog
but soon realized he wasn't what the judges were looking for in the ring. So! The hunt was on for a dog for Amy to
show in Conformation and Showmanship. We soon found a blue merle female we named Chelsea's Weathered Blue's
(Terebrock's Cure For The Blues x Birch Hollow 's Forever Crystal)
Her and Amy made quite the team in Showmanship and made the 500 Club with ASCA in 1993.

We then met Linda Moss of Quapaw Australian Shepherds. At that time Linda lived in Alpena, Arkansas.
We fell in love with her black tri female Pickle's Ch. Brigadoon's Dressed In Velvet CD,
(HOF Ch. Brigadoon's One Arrogant Dude x Gorgeous Red Velvet).
She offered to lease her to use so we took advantage of the offer  and bred her to
Ch. Caledonia's Crowd Pleaser "Andy" (HOF Ch. Jimmee Blue Of Adelaide x Ch. Butterfield's Silky Suzann)
owned by Karen Godwin of Caledonia Aussies. That cross produced ASCA, AKC, INT'l Ch. Show-Me's Shadow Dancer "
Dancer" and ASCA, AKC Ch. Show-Me's Dream Catcher "Chase".  Dancer and Chase were owner / handled by Amy
Amy and Dancer garnered many BOB, BOS, and Group placements.
In 1993 they won BOS at the ASCA National Specialty in Arizona,
and in 1997 won an Award Of Merit at Westminster against some very tough competition!

Throughout our web page you can see the Aussies we have in the present as well as  the past.
